Thank you for attending the Fall UT Knoxville Career Event, 2015. Nissan North America is currently seeking highly motivated current students and new graduates for a variety of intern, co-op, and full-time opportunities.
FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITIES:
Successful new graduate full-time candidates for entry-level engineering positions must have a complete engineering degree, or be in their last semester of study. Prior internship or co-op experience within the automotive (or directly related) industry is highly preferred.
We have full-time engineering opportunities in the following areas:
Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS)
Responsible for all aspects of the product lifecycle quality management. We engage with all facets of the business from Product Planning, Design and Development, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, and Field Quality Investigations. We ensure that our customers receive a quality product that meets their expectations and supports our overall corporate brand image. Opportunities in Franklin, TN and Smyrna, TN.
Production Engineering
A multi-faceted department that analyzes specifications for manufacturability and identifies improvement opportunities related to vehicle quality. Engineers can expect to analyze problems, present recommendations, develop specifications, and assist with project planning (including target setting, task definition and scheduling). We assist manufacturing plants and suppliers in identifying cost saving methods while improving quality. Opportunities in Smyrna, TN, Decherd, TN, Canton, MS.
Candidates for full-time employment must be from the following degree programs: Electrical Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
INTERN/CO-OP OPPORTUNITIES:
Nissan is recruiting Freshmen through Senior level college students for Intern and Co-op positions for the following functional areas:
·Fielding Quality Investigations
·Chief Quality Engineering
·Parts Quality Engineering
·Process Engineering
·Production/Manufacturing Engineering
