We're currently looking for a Test Equipment & Facilities Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills, Michigan. SUMMARY Highly motivated, team oriented engineer needed to support our physical test lab technology and capability development. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the planning and acquisition of capital equipment, including specifications, project management, installation and introduction into use, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvements for test methods and new equipment needs. In addition, this candidate will support budget management and future purchase planning for our test labs. Job Functions • Test Equipment & Facilities: Planning, specifications, acquisition, installation, introduction, and overall project management responsibilities. Also responsible for administration of maintenance, repair and calibration processes for our test equipment and test facilities. • Technology & Development: Looking at current test methods for opportunities for streamlining or other improvements, identifying new equipment needs and applications, and overall responsibility for reviewing and identifying potential improvement opportunities for all processes. • Budget: Planning and managing of our current and future Test Laboratory department's budgets for equipment and facility items.
