We're currently looking for a Technologist 1 to join our team in Smyrna, TN.

Summary:
·  Performs part duplication testing, maintenance,service, troubleshooting, port modifications andrepair on engineering fleet vehicles.
·  Performs a full range of service, maintenance,and repair on engineering fleet vehicles.
·  Works with engineering installing incidentwarranty return parts-Prepares engines and transmissions for scrap.
·  Monitor and dispose of hazardous waste andrecyclables at the FQC.
·  Maintain MSDS sheets for all chemicals.
·  Order and track supplies for garage use.
·  Request estimates for special tools andsupplies for garage activities.
·  Weekly inspection of shop equipment andhoists.
·  Assist with fleet vehicle maintenance andtracking.
·  Assist in chemical spills.
·  Coordinate CAMIC activities.
·  Garage housekeeping. Minimal Requirements:
·  Strong technical automotive backgroundincluding vehicle incident analysis, diagnosticand repair skills.
·  Strong oral and written communication andinterpersonal skills.
·  Good organizational skills-Hazardous material parts handling process.
·  Working knowledge of Word and Excel software.
·  Knowledge of general office equipment.
·  Three or more years experience as an automotive technician at a dealership or automotive manufacturer.
