The Smyrna manufacturing plant is the highest producing automotive plant in North America. We're currently looking for a Technologist 1 to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Smyrna, TN.

Position Description:
Works daily with Production personnel and supports current and new model programs from a tooling standpoint. Required to study processes, new and existing tooling needs, and to maintain process control of torque related tooling. Utilize systematic and logical problem resolution techniques to determine solutions to chronic and emerging concerns based on static and dynamic torque data. Should be accountable for showing work and impact to corporate targets and objectives

Minimum Requirements:

·  HS Diploma or equivalent required, BS degree preferred·
·  Must be self-motivated individual with good written, verbal, and problem solving skills.
·  Must be familiar with process control management for quality issue resolution.
·  Must have the ability to understand part drawings and assembly data.
·  Must have extensive knowledge of High Capability Assembly Tools and System Integration.
·  Needs to be computer literate and skilled in Microsoft Office products.
·  Must be cross-functional minded and have good communication skills.
