TCS Field Quality Assurance - Deployment Engineer

Mission and Main Objectives

The Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) department's objective is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality product and services to the customer.
The Field Quality Assurance (FQA) team is part of TCS with responsibility for managing the investigation of technical issues, deciding the best way to address such issues in the market, and deployment of proactive market actions to protect our customers from potential safety, regulation, or high customer impact issues.
Working in the FQA team the candidate will focus on the development, preparation, and deployment of repair instructions, parts, special service tools, and related communications in support of any market action to be taken by Nissan Group in Europe and other regions where European produced units are distributed.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

·  Responsible for deployment of Customer quality improvement actions in the market and/or port locations, in Europe and other regions, including recall campaigns and other proactive actions.
·  Work cross-functionally with other sections to successfully manage action implementation in the market; among others R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, AfterSales, Legal, Public Relations and global counterparts.
·  Ensure proactive actions agreed are appropriate and efficient. Including:
·  Repair procedure: step by step guide for dealer technicians.
·  Parts: parts preparation and distribution schedule and route.
·  Special Tools: development, preparation and distribution schedule and route.
·  Scope: correct definition of action scope vehicles and locations.
·  System: ensure Nissan Group systems are set up to support the market action.
·  Communication: follow standard process to communicate to the relevant audiences in the correct format
·  Feedback: monitor feedback from any of the stakeholders through the relevant channels and take action accordingly.
·  Ensure quality of information issued to the market by closely monitoring progress of proactive market actions within the first phases of its deployment.
·  Manage documentation maintenance and archiving in line with section policies and procedures.
·  Participate and, where applicable, lead, process and activity improvements to enhance Customer Quality and Satisfaction within the section and wider scope.
·  Provide upstream and cross-functional reporting as required.
·  Identify efficiencies/improvements needed to develop systems to support daily activity, and regular reporting. Summarise changes needed, propose solutions, and where applicable realise these solutions.

·  Experience in coordination of complex inter-functional tasks.

·  Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office package for daily management, data analysis, presentation and solution development.

·  A good team player who questions the norm and strives to provide solutions.
·  Solid technical background would be an advantage.
·  Experience of the main Aftersales market-facing functions would be an advantage (e.g. Aftersales, Warranty, Service Parts, etc.).
