Project Description:
We are looking for self-motivated Engineering students to join our team. This intern position supports the Vehicle Quality Assurance efforts.

Job Functions
The following job function statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified. The job function statements reflect expectations of the fully trained, proficient incumbent who meets all performance criteria and standards.

1. Operates various metrology measuring equipment daily.
2. Creates layout reports and generates layout forms for production and new project vehicle bodies and parts using various PC Software.
3. Researches nominal data points for bodies and parts in CAD (Computer Assisted Drafting) systems.
4. Programs automatic CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) such as Bridge type and Portage Arm type for parts and vehicle body layouts.
5. Performs manual machine layouts on production and new project trial parts and bodies.
6. Calibrates manual layout machines, free angle probes, mics, calipers, gauge blocks, gauge pins, etc.
7. Follows ISO9000 and ISO 14000 procedures to include generating and maintaining files and records to ensure compliance with equipment calibration standards.
