We're currently looking for a Seat Development Engineer to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI.

Summary:
The position of Seat Development Engineer exists within the Seat Engineering Department. This department is responsible for the development of the seat systems within Nissan vehicles.

Position Duties:
A Seat Engineer responsible for the development of seating systems will:
·  Oversee the development of a seat which complies with all regulatory and Nissan test requirements.
·  Interface with internal engineering departments (Marketability, Safety, Test, etc.) and external departments (Styling, Product Planning, Manufacturing, etc.) to provide a seat which satisfies expectations.
·  Negotiate with a seating supplier to manage the cost of the seat development.
·  Manage the overall develop schedule of the seating systems to achieve key program milestones and deliverables. Minimum Requirements
·  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
