We're currently looking for a Production Supervisor-Body Assembly to join our team in Smyrna, TN .
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor manages a group of production technicians in their assigned area.
Provides technicians with the tools needed to perform their assignments, including process information, job allocations, training, equipment and other needed support; prepares reports and charts showing assigned area's progress regarding safety, production, throughput, scrap, attendance and budgetary compliance; ensures departmental goals of safety, quality, cost and time are met and maintains an atmosphere of trust and positive morale for the assigned zone; writes standard operation sheets for each job in assigned area.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred
· Minimum 2 years of experience supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Automotive experience preferred, but not required
· Good oral and writing skills and the ability to develop and analyze reports
· Working knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, and other PC applications to output reports with similar, non-creative formats is required
· Process control knowledge through the use of SPC
· Should be available to work any shift
