Responsibilities:
·  Regularly meet with vehicle design/research staff to identify potentially patentable features, components, and processes from various technologies.
·  Conduct patentability searches, freedom to practice searches, and patent infringement investigations.
·  Manage the preparation and prosecution of patent applications by developing filing strategies and overseeing the work of outside patent counsel.
·  Assist in the execution of corporate patent awareness and recognition initiatives. Requirements:
·  Bachelor degree in engineering
·  Knowledge of US patent system
·  Experience with drafting and/or analyzing patent claims
·  Excellent presentation/communication skills
·  Ability to multi-task and work proactively Desirable Skills:
·  Previous in-house or law firm patent experience
·  United States Patent and Trademark Office registration
