We're currently looking for a Parts Quality Engineer to join our team at our Manufacturing Plant in Smyrna, TN .

SUMMARY:
Responsible for supplier part quality activities as they relate to local suppliers. Position will interact with manufacturing and process engineering to resolve supplier part related issues.Main responsibilities will include investigating supplier part related issues as they are related to your assigned area and work with the Supplier Parts Inspection group to put temporary countermeasures and containment in place in order to protect the customer. Depending on the area you are assigned other responsibilities may also include but not limitedtoPPAPapprovals, warrantyrelated supplierauditing for continuous improvements, APQP approval, warranty issue resolution, Part Issue Resolution and 8D countermeasure implementation and validationforsupplier part quality issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

·  Co-op Manufacturing experience preferred
·  Must have Bachelors degree in Engineering
·  Must possess good coordination and project management skills
·  Good problem solving skills
·  Good interpersonal and communication skills
·  Software program experience desired with Spacevision or ideas, Excel, & Word and PowerPoint
