Position Title

NVH Engineer

Mission and Main Objectives

Noise & Vibration performance planning & test

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

- Setting NVH targets based on benchmark
- Deploy system/component target to achieve vehicle NVH
- Digital development with following product development process
- Liaise with other engineering functions
- Conduct system part/components and vehicle tests to measure objective data, and assess subjectively and Verify NVH performance against agreed program targets.
- Responsible for the analysis of test data and for issuing reports
- Investigation of NVH concerns and development of countermeasures in close collaboration with design groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaison/negotiation at all levels both internally and with external organizations
- Ability to plan and manage own workload and that of support technician

Background & Experience

Minimum 3 years automotive Noise & Vibration Performance planning and Test experience

Minimum Education Required

Bachelors Degree

Specific Technical Skills

- Customer focused
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally digital NVH development experience
- Practical experience in the use of ARTEMIS / Muller BBM PAK (or similar) data acquisition and analysis systems
- Good logical reasoning
- Good understanding of NVH and isolation theory
- Proficient excel skills
