Position Title
Model Engineer
Mission and Main Objectives
Gathering, organising, analysing and investigating market information (technical concerns) in order to prepare counter measure action requests to R&D and Manufacturing .
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop all aspects of customer satisfaction, working closely with customers, RBU's, MFG and R&D engineers and relevant internal departments
* Analysis of information such as Technical Reports, warranty data, survey information (customer voice) and parts movement
* Investigation of warranty parts in FQC and incident vehicles in the field
* Prioritising the information and reporting (allocating) within lead time targets to Plants & Design functions by CAR (Countermeasure Action Request)
* Follow-up & expedite CARs through managing and organising cross functional meetings with Plants & Design
* Generate summary documents and presentations to report status and future planned activities to management
Additional Tasks and responsibilities (include team management, if any)
Nissan operates a zero injury program and undertakes proactive health and safety activities annually to work toward eliminating industrial accidents, occupational illnesses, and traffic accidents. Part of your role will be to ensure you understand and follow health and safety policy and procedure.

Background & Experience
* Self motivated with a proven record and ability of project management, concern investigation and reporting.
* Able to work cross functionally at all levels and have the ability to respond quickly to changing demands.
* Experience of working and delivering quality output to tight deadlines.
* Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
* Experience in either Product Information/ Warranty/Design/Development or related fields
* Proven interpersonal & communication skills to operate cross functionally at all levels across cultures.
* Proven negotiating skills
* Good insight into the global Nissan organization
* Strong (whole) vehicle technical knowledge
* Proven experience in concern analysis and problem solving
* Self-motivated
* Good IT skills (MS Office)
* Clear understanding of Health & Safety Responsibilities
* Must be prepared to travel regularly and at short notice
* Ideally has working level command of a second European language
