Posting Description
We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to fill openings for full-time, direct-hire Nissan Maintenance Technicians at our Smyrna, TN electric vehicle battery plant.
This position will be responsible for maintaining manufacturing equipment and manufacturing processes in order to run efficiently and reliably.
Current openings are for weeknight shift (4 X 10) and weekend shift (3 X 12).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Creation of SOS, procedures, and One Point Lessons for major repetitive tasks, develop standards specifying the end-product and the resources needed for these tasks
• Maintenance Database additions and updates in the form of information which will assist in troubleshooting and daily maintenance tasks
• Electrical and Mechanical drawing review and correction markup
• Maintain equipment documentation
• Circuit Change Proposals
• Develop training documentation
• Maintain equipment program backups, hardware and program commonality of identical equipment types
• Guiding efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, and safety
• Root Cause Analysis
• Major Breakdown Reports, Major Breakdown Report Countermeasure Tracking, Countermeasure implementation
• I/O operation and equipment function check of new equipment
• Installation work
• Implement equipment electrical, mechanical and software designs
• Reducing and improving maintenance work wherever feasible; assuring efficient and productive operation of plant, process and equipment
• Work order and project; management and scheduling
• Equipment troubleshooting, Equipment troubleshooting on MBD
• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (5S), Corrective Maintenance
• Continuous Improvement, Instructional presentations, Breakdown presentations, etc. to share knowledge and justify departments programs
Position Requirements:
- A minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience OR a two year technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's). Ability to troubleshoot and modify/create programs is preferred.
- Robotics- ability to troubleshoot, teach paths and mechanical understanding
- Pneumatic/Hydraulic- ability to read schematics, understand fluid power concepts
- Electrical Maintenance- ability to read schematics, understand/troubleshoot motor control circuits, from low voltage to 480V, 3-phase
