Position Title
Maintenance Technician
Mission and Main Objectives
There is a requirement for a Maintenance Technician to carry out AGV Repairs & PPMs across the population of AGV's in Trim & Body Shops.
Technicians will be part of an integrated Kitting/Kaizen/Maintenance team working alongside AGV recovery staff, Kaizen Staff and reporting to a newly created Kitting & Kaizen Supervisor.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
· Technician typical activity will include:
· AGV fault finding
· AGV repair
· Confirm & prove repair through use of AGV test track
· Compile report on concern, actions, parts used, etc
· Priority of tasks AGV Repair, AGV PPM, Facility PPM.

Background & Experience
• Technician should preferably be multi-skilled and capable of the following:
o Omron PLC CX programming and interrogation
o Electrical fault finding & panel wiring
o Understand electrical drawings
o Mechanical assembly skills
o Mechanical fault finding
o Understand mechanical drawings
• An ONC or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Time served apprenticeship
