Posting Description

Nissan is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a Maintenance Engineer.

he Maintenance Engineer is responsible for: Assembly process, hand tools, process equipment specs and line speed adjustments. The study, design and implementation of modifications that will enhance the efficiency and improve the reliability of current and new model programs. Interaction with tooling vendors, providing reliability/maintainability concepts to new equipment, following project through until successful installation.

Minimum Requirements:

-B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
-2-5 years previous engineering or technical leadership role required. Minimum of one year of experience related to engineering or maintenance.
-Motivation to respond to a fast paced assembly process.
-Advanced data driven problem solving skills.
-Microsoft Office Suite. CAD knowledge / familiarity.
-Advanced PLC programming-from design concept to project implementation. Project management experience-from scope of work creation through successful project completion.
-Thorough understanding of mechanical/electrical fundamentals and integration.

Desired qualifications for the Maintenance Engineer-Trim / Chassis are: Good communication skills to include presentations to management. Two or more years experience in process assembly.
