Posting Description

This Loss Recovery Rep must be knowledgeable of laws that regulate the automotive collection industry; such as, FDCPA, GLB, FCRA, FACTA, Federal Bankruptcy Laws, IRS 1099-C Regulations, federal and state repossession and collection laws.Ability to thoroughly analyze complex legal documents, account conditions, and reach independent decisions in selecting the best course of action to protect NMAC's interests.Mastery of inbound/outbound call activities and queue management, possess strong negotiation, excellent communication, planning, organizational and follow-up skills.Must be able to investigate and resolve complex problems and issues.Ability to multi-task in a high-volume production environment.Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, including manual calculation of delinquency and charge-off account balances.Ability to use AS400/sessions platform is a plusMust be able to easily adapt to change, work independently or in a team environment.Qualified Candidates Must Have: Two or more years of Collections experience preferably in an automotive finance industry.Prior bankruptcy, litigation and collections experience is a plus.Working knowledge of the tasks, policies and procedures of NMAC's Customer Service Department, Lease Customer Network Department, Front-End Collections, and/or Regional Collections preferred.Must be able to use Microsoft Office computer systems.Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
