Job description

Position Title

Engineering Graduate 2017

Mission and Main Objectives

Combining technical know-how with hands-on expertise, our engineers define the processes and facilities needed to achieve production objectives. We procure and install them to achieve maximum output and continue to support all areas of the manufacturing operation, ensuring the seamless production of some 500,000 cars every year. A key function offering a full spectrum of career opportunities covering Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

This is your chance to provide technical support to a world-class "lean" manufacturing department that produces quality vehicles every 60 seconds. Developing innovative new products from concept to launch, you'll enjoy diverse challenges, a range of rewarding opportunities and be responsible for owning your projects from start to finish.

Learning as you go, you'll be responsible for an area within the plant – small at first but growing quickly as you become more confident and more skilled. And, you'll be involved in everything; from minor repairs to major projects and new product launches. Whatever your area, you'll gain experience in engineering, project co-ordination, teamwork, support and leadership. There are no job descriptions. You'll manage your own workload and your own area.

Additional Tasks and responsibilities (include team management, if any)

This will vary depending on your role. During your Graduate scheme you may be required to mentor placement students.
