Job Requirements:

· The IS Domain Analyst is an internal consultancy role responsible for assisting processes, technology, cost, and strategy while assisting in the investigation of options for improving and bridging the needs of the business with the use of Information Systems and Technology. An Analyst is responsible for assisting in the analysis and documentation of the Information Systems needs of clients to help identify problems and propose solutions.
· The IS Domain Analyst role is to liaise with the internal business departments and the providers of services to the enterprise under the guidance of a more experienced team member.
· The IS Domain Analyst will assist with supervision in managing incidents as they occur by working with multiple third party vendors to ensure maintenance and support is carried out effectively among all parties
Minimal Requirements:

· Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
· Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
· Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs, develop, monitor and conduct application testing)
· Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.
· Work with users, under supervision, to define concepts under the direction of project managers
· Analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
· Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
· Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
· Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
· Possess an understanding of the following technologies (depending on the area to be supported)
· Mainframe technologies including, but not limited to: COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2 UDB, 0r Client Server technologies including, but not limited to: J2EE, .NET, Oracle, DB2, SQL, PL/SQL
· Possess proficiency in the following:
· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)
· Microsoft Windows operating system
· Bachelor's degree.
· 2 Years overall IS/IT experience with at least prior experience working with off-shore personnel is a plus. Internship experience counts towards requirement,
