We're currently looking for a Chassis Design Engineer to join our team in Canton, MS.

Job Summary:

Chassis engineering includes Suspension, Steering, Tire, Wheel, TPMS, Exhaust and Engine mounting systems. Develop new passenger vehicles and light trucks.

Job Duties:
·  The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of suspension, steering systems or tire/wheel parts and related vehicle performance.
·  Must be able to complete launch of systems while achieving the target performance and target quality and cost.
·  Candidate will conduct the following duties: CAD design studies, specifications issuance to suppliers, cost planning and analysis, drawing release.
·  Interface with related NTCNA departments and global Nissan R&D and suppliers.
·  Resolve field quality issues and manufacturing related issues on current production vehicles and future models. Basic Qualifications:
·  BSME required
·  Prior automotive field experience at the either OEM or supplier Preferred Qualifications:
·  Background of ECU (electric control unit) is strongly preferred
·  FTA, FMEA experience
·  Cross functional and cross cultural mindset is necessary to closely communicate and collaborate with global Nissan R&D which is in Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Spain and England and worldwide supplier partnerships Welcome to an open lane of possibility.
