We are currently looking for a Bilingual Warranty Analyst to join our team at our head office located in Mississauga, Ontario.
Position Details
• Warranty Claim Pre approvals: Analyze, assess and pre-approve/decline submissions from Dealers; Provide guidance to Dealer staff and adjust dealer warranty repair, service contract repair and campaign claims.
• Provide Call Centre support to dealers and regions regarding warranty-related issues (claims, warranty policy and procedures).
• Liaise with Regional Support Managers, Area General Managers and Fixed Operations Managers to inform and advise them about claim submission approvals and processing and to answer any inquiries. Assisting Regional staff in setting approval limits for various Dealers. Process requests and inquiries sent from Regions relative to approvals in the form of memos and respond to those individuals. Address Regional requests for specific warranty reports in order to modify Dealer behaviour. Maintain an up to date library of Electronic Service Manuals (ESM) and be familiar with the Policies and Procedures relating to Warranty.
• Process warranty claim charge-backs received from Regions. Evaluate alleged defective warranty parts returned by Dealers.
• Process and investigate claims: Process daily warranty claims and review warranty repair order documentation to verify warranty compliance.
• Daily / Monthly reports: Daily warranty claims stats, monthly CPUS reports and Month end warranty comparison / tracking reports.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred, equivalent experience combined with post-secondary education
• Strong technical knowledge combined with minimum 2 years dealership service and warranty or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with MS application; Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual, proficiency with English and French
