Design Assistant Intern for London Fashion Week

Job description

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to get first-hand, quality experience of the fashion industry at a couture level, as well as having the chance to assist in the lead up to London Fashion Week. This is a very hands-on Work Placement based in a studio.

You will be assisting designers with the following;

Pattern cutting
Manufacturing show samples
Hand finishes
Embellishments
Creating toiles
Beading

We are looking for a Student who is looking to learn and gain some experience within the fashion industry. The role is varied and creative with the successful applicant receiving an excellent introduction to all aspects of the fashion industry from concept to catwalk. Working alongside the Design Assistants of the business, the Student can expect to be given full training from professionals to ensure the length of the placement becomes as beneficial as possible.
