Job description

To be considered, you'll bring the following:

• Experience working with mixed development teams of full-time employees and contractors in both onshore and offshore models
• Successfully elicit from appropriate suppliers all forms of requirements (e.g. functional, performance, usability, compliance, regulatory, technical)
• Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
• Successful track record dealing with executive level professionals to drive business outcomes
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate project activities and deliverables for EDI links from source to target with external partners and the NIKE team.
- Perform technical analytics related to advanced data analysis, data mining, and source to target mapping
- Create and maintains complex contextprocess and system diagrams
- Work with remote groups such as vendors, other Nike facilities, and or departments to gather and document tactical requirements from the business.
- Coordinate and communicate functional requirements of business unit and technical solutions with IT capability resources by designing and documenting advanced functional specs
- Conform to standards, processes, and policies. Apply global process standards to regional technology solutions.
- Work with systems personnel to implement design. Participates in development of project plan/timeline. Provides input into project management
- Communicate project status to mgmt and the business. Provides support and participates in change management at department and end user level.
- May create reports and consult on best practice configuration of systems. May configure packaged solutions to unique and complex business requirements
- Oversees and performs complex testing activities including construction of test plans/scripts including the expected results and the validation of test results.
- Communicate and document system changes to the business. Translate system functionality into business relevant language. Leads and participates in SME discussions
Desired profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years' experience in Information Technology
- 2 years' additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Solid understanding of EDI and its business applicability and value
- 3+ years experience in designing and implementing EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT)
- Experience with technical analysis including the ability to discover and recommend solutions, define business impacts and provide technical analysis to new EDI initiatives and enhancements
- Engage IT resources in the analysis, construction, testing and implementation of EDI interfaces.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate diverse tasks
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with EDI implementation in the Retail, Logistics and Finance industries
- Experience with SAP Modules and IDOCs
- Knowledge of EDI technical processes and communication processes
