Job description

As our Footwear Product Line Manager, you'll be responsible for analyzing product, consumer and competitive trends in the market. You'll spend time with consumers/athletes, shops in all channels of distribution and conduct an analysis of the current business (including bookings and sell-through by channel, age/gender/sport segments, size, color, etc.). You'll lead line planning, pricing and product creation processes for a part of the overall product line. You'll participate in all facets of the product creation process. You'll also work with other members of the product management team to meet key deliverables each season, including MLP updates, pricing deadlines, sample flagging, sales tool preparation, etc. You'll work with the Merchandising team to create impactful presentations to sell-in the product.

Desired profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Retail Merchandising, or a related field, or 2 additional years' experience in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years' relevant experience in product-related roles
General understanding of product construction and consumer trends

Proven Merchandising Skills:
• Strong business orientation, analytical aptitude, and computer skills
• Creativity and passion for the product
• High level understanding of the product creation process, retail buying and/or apparel sales
• Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes
• Manage communication and systems information surrounding the complete product line.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with key geographies- identifying opportunities in the marketplace and gaps in the line plan
• Lead regular cross-functional team meetings to ensure all key gates and dates are being met.
• Lead integration with internal partners- Category, Merchandising, Equipment, other Product COE's, and PCC leads
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Effective verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing, high growth environment
• Clear understanding of the significance of pricing and its impact on profitability.
