Maintenance Technician - Foothills Ranch - (Mon - Thurs/11:30am - 10:00pm)

Job description

In this Maintenance Technician role, you'll be require to operate, maintain, and repair machines and equipment that included, but not limited to, conveyor, sortation system, HVAC maintenance, minor electrical work, minor fabrication and welding and performance routine maintenance to prevent breakdown of machinery and equipment. You'll work with system-based personal computers to ensure proper system operation. You'll also provide guidance and training on all machine or equipment as necessary; assist our Sr. Maintenance Technician with equipment repair and general building maintenance; and participate in safety meetings, process improvement meetings and conveyor training classes. The role will require the use of hand and power tools. In addition, you'll collaborate with our Area Managers in order to help utilize cost effective measures and eliminate down time on machine and equipment. ·  High School diploma or GED required
·  Able to read and count accurately as well as to follow verbal and written directions
·  Capable of repetitive motions
·  Able to lift up to 50 pounds continually
·  Able to successfully handle multiple tasks at once
·  6 months' work experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is preferred
·  Prior work experience in a maintenance or general maintenance capacity is preferred
·  Experience operating lift equipment or other powered motor vehicles is preferred
