JOB DESCRIPTION

Our highly competitive legal internship program offers law school students a rare opportunity to gain real world experience during law school in virtually every area within the global NIKE Legal Department based at NIKE's World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Our legal practice groups are specialty teams with skills, knowledge, and expertise in particular areas of the law, including brand communications, corporate governance and securities, brand protection, intellectual property, sports marketing, business transactions, employment/immigration, real estate, and litigation. As an intern you will assist NIKE in-house legal counsel and NIKE business managers on a wide range of legal issue support and gain hands-on experience in the structuring, drafting and implementation of a wide range of business transactions, helping us advance and guide NIKE, Inc.'s (and also its subsidiary companies Converse and Hurley) business through superior, innovative and offense-minded legal counsel.

Desired profile

·  Law student, preferably 2L, from ABA accredited top law school
·  Top 25% class rank
·  Excellent oral communication and writing skills
·  Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities under tight time deadlines
·  Entrepreneurial; comfortable seeking out assignments
·  Demonstrated leadership, business experience, or other unique qualifications or skills may also be considered
·  Splitting time with a law firm is supported
