Lean Process Excellence Facilitator

Job description

As our Lean Process Excellence Facilitator , you will be part of our diverse and talented Lean Team. You will work closely with the Lean Team and Production Managers on project/kaizen events to help Air MI reach strategic goals. You will work with and lead improvement activity across all shifts of a value stream using your knowledge of problem solving methods to guide and influence kaizen teams to analyze the problem, consider all potential causes, identify the root cause, and deploy the kaizen team to implement the plan. You will lead efforts across all shifts to develop and deliver both informal and formal training to: manufacturing team members, supervisors, team leads, and other support groups. You will analyze data to create statistical information about process performance across all shifts of a value stream, identify areas requiring improvement and present recommendations to value stream management.

Desired profile

·  2-year Technical Degree
·  3 to 5 years' directly related manufacturing experience in lieu of degree
·  Mechanical aptitude, preferred
·  Experience with Timer Pro, Adobe Premier Pro and capturing/editing video
·  Analytical skills (ex. Industrial Engineering or Six Sigma Training), preferred
·  Demonstrated understanding of value streams
·  Well versed in problem solving
·  Entry-level knowledge of lean tools and processes (Kaizen Events, 5S, TPM, Standard Work)
·  Demonstrated leadership skills
·  Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, & SharePoint)
