Job description
As an HR Operations Intern you will be part of HR Direct Europe that supports all Nike employees across our retail stores, distribution centers and offices in all our countries in Europe. Nike strives for excellence in all its policies, processes and practices and is working on several improvements in our HR Operations. Your responsibilities will include:
· Work with the various teams within EMEA HR Operations to identify opportunities for immediate process improvement.
· Build the business case for change through research and analysis.
· Work with stakeholders across HR to align on / select the opportunities with the highest impact to our customers and operations.
· Scope the project into a project plan and drive the execution of the project plan in partnership with all stakeholders, while following and improving existing practices.
· Depending on your interests and skills, you could also be working in projects related to data analytics, total quality management or data automation.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· 3rd/4th year student within Human Resources, Business, or other related fields;
· Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
· Ability to make and foster relationships;
· Strong analytical and technical skills and proficiency in Excel;
· Strong multi-tasking and organizational awareness skills;
· Academic, volunteering or previous internship experiences related to Human Resources are a plus (please include in your CV);
· Passion for the Nike brand and sports in general. In order to be eligible for an internship, you must :
· Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution);
· Have an EU passport or an EU work permit.
Start date: February 1st, 2018
Duration: 6 - 12 months
This internship is open to students outside of the Netherlands.
