HR Compliance Specialist

Job description

As Nike's HR Compliance Specialist, you will influence change in a collaborative and creative manner. The HR Compliance Specialist will be responsible for gathering, updating, and consulting on all relevant labor topics through independent research and analysis for internal HR partners as well as various business partners for all locations within the region. These recommendations will include, but are not limited to:

· Wage and hour (minimum wage, overtime, etc.)
· Work/time/workplace requirements (break entitlements, max working hours, etc.)
· Leave rights
· Statutory Benefits
· Termination process/requirements
· Data storage
· Government audit facilitation
· Internal and external policy documentation as it relates to statutory/regulatory requirements
· Mandatory government reporting requirements

In addition to providing recommendations on labor standards regulations, the HR Compliance Specialist will:

· Participate in time systems configurations as they relate to HR compliance
· Lead/facilitate government labor audits in Nike/Converse/Hurley locations within the region
· Perform compliance consulting for multi-functional projects and initiatives
· Liaise with governmental agencies as it relates to HR Compliance
· Work together with other regional compliance teams to support global initiatives
· Proactively recognize potential challenges and design creative solutions for partners to implement and execute.

Desired profile

·  Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
·  2+ years of legal or HR compliance-related experience
·  Legal research and analysis experience
·  Experience working in a highly matrixed organization
·  Project and audit management experience
·  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with superior attention to detail
·  French and English language fluency (both written and verbal communication) required. Dutch fluency is an advantage. Additional language capability a plus.
