Working for one of the most recognisable brands in the world, Nike is offering a great opportunity for a Field Sales Representative to join the Golf team at an unbelievably exciting time for the sport.

The role will be responsible for achieving financial targets and ensuring profitability by evolving business within existing Golf accounts, as well as securing new business when necessary. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building the strategic plan and execution for the given region (Scotland & Ireland).

Key responsibilities will include:

· Being assigned to an area account base to achieve financial goals on a seasonal basis including futures, daily business and close out targets. Ensuring appropriate seasonal product flow by category and by month, in order to optimise account opportunities.
· Demonstrating excellent account management, including accurate forecasting, assortment planning and professional presentations. Actively collaborating with their line manager in the development of a strategic territory plan for their accounts.
· Lead the development of account plans with the customer thru close collaboration. Work closely with a broad internal team on a seasonal business plan based on financial planning, sell-thru, account specific objectives (financial and category), and an understanding of the retailer's consumer.
· Manage the marketplace by ensuring best presentation of stories and product to our best customers at the appropriate time. Work closely with category teams on directed door level assortment plans that contribute to an elevated consumer experience.
· Conduct monthly and seasonal business reviews with customer and internal stakeholders. Demonstrating a full understanding of Nike's market position and recognize the opportunity for business growth.
· Ensure appropriate seasonal product flow by category and by month, to optimize account opportunities. Work with account buyer to ensure market and customer capacities are met. Manage the customer inventory position based on seasonal targets and sell-thru objectives
· Establishing and maintaining timely, consistent and positive external and internal relationships. Providing exceptional customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customer personnel.

Desired profile

·  Strong account management and sales experience ideally within the Sports or Retail industry although other sectors will be considered (FMCG, Consumer Goods etc)
·  Good level of experience/knowledge of Excel, the AV tool and PowerPoint. Must be able to learn and effectively use nike.net order entry systems.
·  Understanding of the wider UK/IRE Golf marketplace and knowledge of current golf product and apparel in the UK/IRE would be advantageous
·  Must be able to manage own time effectively and be comfortable working independently
·  Strong strategic ability (strategy creation & execution).
·  The ability to develop and create consumer right assortments and bring them to life in store. Ability to educate retail staff to meet Nike standards of visual merchandising.
·  Ability to analyze retailer sales data to identify opportunities, and then act accordingly.
·  Proven ability to persuade and influence people to take desired action through thorough research and clear presentation.
