Job description
Based in the UK, you will contribute to the development of the sales strategy for Nike's Golf category, aimed at driving sales and growth across our range of Golf products.
You will provide people leadership to a fantastic team of Field Sales specialists and participate in activities such as work planning, process development, resource optimization, goal setting, coaching, training and performance monitoring. You will be part of the world's leading sports brand and have an exciting career within the company.
· Manage a Field Sales team directly reporting into you. Contribute to developing top talents within Nike Sales organization.
· Create superior partnership with existing account base, ensure financial goals and appropriate seasonal product flow in order to optimize the developments of the accounts
· Find new partners that will add unique position for the industry and has the potential to become a key partner for the future
· Develop and execute strategies with accounts; including semi-annual account business plans and monthly revenue targets
· Drive business through accounts by utilizing customer service skills and building strong relationships based upon product/category and marketplace expertise which results in inconsistent target attainment
· Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Develop depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline
· Lead others to solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative
· Anticipate customer needs; assess requirements and identify new solutions
· Manage projects or programs with moderate resource requirements, risk and/or complexity
· Monitor and control costs of own work and may manage budgets for moderate-sized projects or programs.
· Perform work in support of brand plans; demonstrate link between daily work and company mission; participate in initiatives, programs or products with moderate visibility
Desired profile
Required Experience:
· 2-4 years relevant sales leadership experience in Sporting Goods, FMCG, Consultancy, Retail
· Experience and knowledge of retail fluency and account profitability models with an ability to drive a profitable account business.
· Experience and track record of success working with big accounts, increasing revenue, creating and driving a holistic business plan inclusive of short and long term business strategies and financial targets.
· Able to influence both cross functionally and vertically within the industry and marketplace and negotiate highly complex retail agreements.
· Min. Bachelor or higher in the field of sales or economics. Can be compensated by relevant work experience.
· Must be prepared and able to travel across the UK
Desired Experience:
· Experience managing a team across multiple geographical locations
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives.
· Proficient utilizing financial decision making models and translating results into business plans and accurate revenue forecasts.
· Highly developed presentation and facilitation skills. Experience using Microsoft Office tools and Sales/Account Management systems.
· Seasoned understanding of the golf industry, with knowledge of marketplace trends and driving factors
· A passion to develop people skills and strong talents
