Job description
At Nike's World Headquarters, the Front Line Reception team serves as Building Ambassadors. Our role is to provide employees, callers, and visitor's exceptional experiences through customer engagement, services and processes that protect Nike's people, ideas and property. We are looking for a Reception team member to perform a wide range of services contributing to the success of the Nike teams and visitors we support.
As our Front-Line Receptionist, you are responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming and premium experience to each of your visitors and employees. As a window into the company, you are often the first person that visitors will interact with and ensuring they have a positive, memorable experience reflective of the Nike brand is key. Along with providing a high-level of service and support to each of your visitors, you will be responsible for the following:
· Positively representing and embodying the Nike brand
· Engaging visitors to ensure they feel welcome, comfortable and well-attended
· Registering and assigning guest passes and notifying appropriate individuals of their guests' arrival
· Act as a central point of contact and information resource for visitors and employees, including answering, screening and directing phone calls
· Providing awareness and information regarding Nike's campus and services such as: shuttle schedules, phone operations, employee seating locations, conference rooms and building locations, campus amenities and activities, procedures and reference information, contact names, etc.
· Providing assistance with conference room booking support, IT trouble-shooting, booking taxi service, mail issues and a range of other activities
· Receiving, recording, tracking and distributing packages to employees Monitoring front desk and lobby surroundings and reporting custodial, maintenance, safety or security concerns through the appropriate channels
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· High school diploma or GED
· Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service, front desk, or hospitality environment
· Must be highly personable and demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude at all times
· Must be responsible, accountable and a good team player
· Possess good judgment to determine the best course of action when making decisions and solving problems
· Ability to anticipate needs, be proactive and take initiative
· Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and excellent phone presence
· Basic knowledge of PC, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office
· Earliest shift starts at 7:30 am and latest shift ends at 5:30 pm
· Flexible to work varying schedules with little notice and rotating shifts depending on assigned tasks or duties
· Able to type 25 wpm
· Ability to pass a criminal background check
· Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. unassisted
