Job description
This is an internship placement for 12 months starting from July 2016.
This is a unique opportunity to work within one of the most progressive areas of the UK+IRE Marketing team, Brand Digital, helping to connect with our highly digitally-advanced consumers and architect digital consumer journeys across Nike.com, Social Media, Nike Apps and collaborating with key Wholesale digital partners.
· To provide assistance and support to the Brand Digital Managers on key seasonal projects and plans, primarily across the main categories of Nike Football, Nike Women's, Nike Running and Nike Sportswear.
· To have a strong focus on the Nike App Ecosystem (Nike+ Running, Nike Training Club, Nike Football App, The Nike Tech Book) owning the seasonal engagement models, territory level reporting, and road maps for releases and updates.
· Involvement in all areas of Nike.com 365 digital marketing plans (Internal site search, Paid Search, Affiliate Marketing, Email, SEO & translation validation).
· Support the Brand Digital Director, and Brand Digital team, with overall essential administration support including finance and team processes.
Desired profile
· This role is only open to students as part of an undergraduate university placement year
· Passion and knowledge of sports industry, Nike brand and products.
· Passion for and understanding of the digital landscape, digital marketing trends and online consumer behaviour.
· Highly creative, but able to use data/reporting to spot trends and add insights.
· Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure; Strong organisational and planning skills.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas/analysis with authority and persuasion.
· Team player with the ability to form sound relationships both external and internal.
· Flexibility as urgent work requirements and timelines change – high level of proactivity.
