Key Responsibilities:

As our Corporate Communications Manager you will be responsible to develop and drive Nike AGS (Austria, Germany, and Switzerland) external communication programs focusing on key marketing initiatives and Football, Basketball, SB und Men¹S Athletic Training categories.

Based in Frankfurt/Main, you will be a key member of the AGS Corporate Communications and PR team and have an exciting career within the company.

· Provide strategic vision to development category integrated marketing plans. Contribute regularly to discussions and planning with regard to brand development and integrated marketing communications.
· Develop and execute public relations/comms strategies and plans that support the overall brand, category, product concepts and business.
· Identify and execute creative news making opportunities and inspire media to cover Nike products, events and to drive business accordingly.
· Design new ways of interacting with media stakeholders including social media and bloggers to correspond with the Nike brand.
· Support Director of Corporate Communications/PR on issues management. Develop strategic responses including creation of key messages and identification of spokespeople.
· Drive internal communication storytelling for respective categories for German speaking markets.
· Manage agencies and international vendors. Develop and cultivate international network of key media partners.

Desired profile

Required Qualifications/Experience:

· Minimum of three years in directly relevant work experience preferably in a brand driven consumer goods business environment.
· A Journalist background and knowledge in the area of digital communications is a plus.
· Ability to work well cross departments as well as cross culturally is a necessity. Must be skilled in influencing without formal power.
· Communication Language: Strong presentation skills and interpersonal skills, and good written and verbal English and German communication skills.
· Multi Tasking: Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong attention to details and solid follow-through skills.
· Min. Bachelor or higher. Can be compensated by relevant work experience
