Converse Warehouse and Outbound Analyst

Job description

You arrange our product flow from source to customer door, having impact on the end to end Supply Chain activities of Converse products. In doing so, you ensure deliveries take place against customer expectations. While working very closely together with our business partners in warehousing and freight, you continuously improve our efficiency and service.
This role allows people with great logistical insight and experience to boost their knowledge about warehousing and supply chain processes. Your decisions in this process are vital and will make a difference in improving our business. Converse is part of Nike Inc, thus you will be a key member of the Nike Operations team and regularly interact with Nike colleagues in Laakdal, Hilversum and across Europe. The Converse 3PL Manager will coach and develop you.

Do these tasks attract you?
·  Support 3PL on outbound warehouse processes
·  Follow up with 3PL on customer and warehouse delivery requirements
·  Ensure in-country teams are trained and understand the link between Nike Transportation and Nike Trans tools
·  Warehouse planning and monitoring: support of planning process within the warehouse to ensure warehouse performances at optimal cost/service balance.
·  Point of contact for the in-country teams: provide reporting on business tracking and ensure business-expectations are matched with operational capabilities.
·  Analyze warehouse performances and provide relevant management reporting.
·  Compliance specialist: ensure new business requests are investigated and (potentially) implemented.

Desired profile

Are you the one who we are looking for?
·  2 – 4 years of significant experience in transportation, planning or warehouse operations.
·  The terminology and practices of general logistics do no longer have secrets for you.
·  Passion for logistics and supply chain and able to analyse data and situations on bachelor/master level.
·  Customer service oriented, both internal and external.
·  Your knowledge of Dutch is good, more importantly your English is very fluent both in speaking and in writing
·  Problem solving is your way of life and you manage time effectively.
·  Expert in using Microsoft Office and WMS.
·  Reliable and dynamic team player who works well with other departments.
