Category Information Analyst

Job description

As our Category Information Analyst, you'll investigate and maintain core product information through various systems in the Product Creation engine. You'll steward the data for accuracy, timeliness and completeness to support critical events in the product development process and through its usage in downstream systems. You'll maintain product data, including style groups, product names, color names, product codes, lifecycles, descriptions and pricing. You will ensure data is accurate and supports critical deadlines. You will interpret the intent of line plans and product creation information to comply with the business rules and system structures. This opportunity also involves acting as the key contact for product information by participating in category team meetings and proactively communicating all relevant product information. In addition, you'll generate reports and will be able to correlate data to support category needs, including line plans, planning documents and presentations.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
·  Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in a data management or reporting role
·  2 additional years of work experience in lieu of a degree
·  Demonstrated experience with data entry and data management
·  Experience investigating, capturing and maintaining product data in an information management system or complex database
·  Proficiency with MS Excel at an intermediate level including vlookups, pivots and formulas
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
·  Strong problem solving and decision making skills
·  Strong attention to detail and process orientation
·  Nike experience is preferred
·  Auditing of data and root cause analysis experience preferred
·  Prior product (footwear, apparel and equipment) experience is beneficial
·  Passion for product is a plus
