Business planner

Job description

As Business Planner for Nike in Poland, you will join our strong sales team and you will develop and manage the top-line financial plan in partnership with our accounts. You will proactively manage and measure the business to ensure common healthy growth, profitability and the most mutually beneficial relationship with our accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

o Proactively looking for opportunities and risks on the marketplace and deliver quantitative and qualitative recommendation to the team.
o Retail and sales reports preparation (with data quality verification).
o Create long-term plans based on marketplace capacity inclusive of stock & sales that drives a gross to net plan.
o Align Nike and the account financial plans by account strategy & profitability model, account sell through, store growth and marketplace information such as demographics, consumer profile & insights.
o Share business review with account, account team and internal cross functional partners.
o Ensure the retail plan & metrics are aligned against the seasonal wholesale plan & metrics.
o Identify potential opportunities and risks against inventory plans; develop actionable recommendations for execution.
o Create & manage seasonal/monthly open to buy forecast against plan dimensions and levers; adjust plans as needed.

Desired profile

o MA degree in business / economy / quantitative methods / finance.
o 1-2 year of relevant experience (preferable within international structures).
o Excellent analytical, planning, financial skills and details orientation.
o Strong presentation, communication & influencing skill.
o Comprehensive understanding of retail math and gross margin profitability planning.
o Experience in developing an understanding customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports market is welcome.
o Ability to interpret dataset to create decision-making scenarios and prepare recommendations.
o Proactive approach and solid information seeking skills.
o Ability to work in matrix organization and with x-functional teams.
o Experience with planning software/tools is welcome.
o MS Office knowledge (focus on Excel).
o Very good knowledge of English.
