Billing Accountant

Job description

  Performance of billing activities: revenue recognition, journal entries postings into SAP
·  Issuing of VAT- invoices
·  Work with outgoing primary documents: creation/correction/searching etc.
·  Communication with customers regarding primary documents correctness and other issues
·  Reconciliation with customers
·  Cooperation with logistics team and the carrier
·  Preparation of response and document's set for TAX authorities/the court/bank requests
·  Control of documents relating to customer's returns
·  Participation in sales leger verification on quarterly basis
·  Participation in Month end closing
·  Ad-hoc reporting
·  Participation in various kinds of audit
·  Other tasks assigned by Accounting Manager

Desired profile

·  2 years of relevant experience
·  Accounting/Economic/Finance Higher Education
·  Good Knowledge of Russian Accounting standards and regulations ; IFRS and US GAAP is a plus
·  English language – upper intermediate
·  Experience with SAP or other ERP-systems is a must
·  Good knowledge of MS Excel

This is temporary position (maternity cover).
