Job description

We are a well-known seafood and fine foods wholesaler based in Fairford, Glos.

Permanent/Full Time - Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a rota basis.

Hours: 7.30am to 4.30pm

Salary £18,000 plus commission

We require a Sales Team Executive to telephone our customers to sell fresh fish and other related products to meet customer needs. Also to maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers. Full training will be provided

Your duties will be:-

Contacting existing accounts from your daily call list, obtaining orders, build up any new accounts passed to you by planning and organizing your daily work schedule to include all accounts.

Respond to incoming email and phone enquiries.

Listen to customer requirements to gain a clear understanding of their business needs to suggest products accordingly to make a sale.

Checking the quantities of goods in stock to verify availability.

Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with the customer.

Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.

Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.

Accurately recording sales and order information into the Sage accounting system.

Also checking all contact details are correct at the time of order.

Liaising with the Fish and Fine Foods Departments to ensure a consistent service.

Making an effort to visit Fine Foods Department daily to view seasonal goods on offer.

Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.

Gathering market and customer information.

Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.

Feeding future buying trends back to management.

Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.

Unless local to Fairford, Gloucestershire(GL7) you will require your own transport to reach location.
