We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated sales professional to represent Nestlé Health Science within the territory of Edmonton, Alberta . The successful candidate will represent Nestlé Health Science products within the Acute Care, Long Term Care, and Community channels, while maintaining profitability levels and meeting regional targets. The objective is to meet specified sales targets by delivering against customer and patient needs through outcome based ‘product-centered' recommendations.

Major Responsibilities:
· Achieve sales targets by promoting Nestlé Health Science products in a professional, effective manner while maintaining awareness of the competitive products and marketplace activities.
· Analysis of account level sales data to highlight trends, opportunities and risks and develop selling strategies to respond appropriately.
· Develop territory level business plans that align with the overall business plans.
· Effectively execute programs as defined by the business plans and/or the key account/GPO plans.
· Develop new sales opportunities by developing deep understanding of customer needs within each channel.
· Build key customer relationships that will enable Nestlé Health Science to meet strategic sales growth.
· Maintain a customer database to record customer information, call activity, actions, follow-ups and results etc.
· Liaise with Key Opinion Leaders and Influencers in order to keep Nestlé apprised of latest nutrition research, trends and competitive activity as well as to promote Nestlé as a Leader in Nutrition.
· Assure compliance of Nestlé Prime Vendor agreements as it pertains to the full product line, where applicable.
· Coordinate involvement in key trade shows and other events.
Q ualifications:
· University degree in business and/or Health Sciences. Registered Dietician an asset, but not required.
· Preferably 1-2 years of medical/pharmaceutical sales or related business experience.
· Self-motivated, results-oriented with proven negotiation skills.
· Ability to identify opportunities, develop and nurture key relationships, and plan / prioritize effectively.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
· Able to demonstrate creativity and possesses entrepreneurial talent. Excellent presentation skills.
· Computer literacy and expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Valid full driver's license is required. Open to frequently travel within the assigned territory.
