Supply Chain Quality Assurance Specialist

Job description

Job purpose:
· Assuring quality compliance of IMS (Inter Market Supply) and local products marketed in the country
· Monitoring of co-manufacturing and co-packing activities and Food Safety Management System implementation over their activities
Responsabilities:
· Contributes to the sustainability of QMS along the Supply Chain area
· Assures quality compliance of IMS and local products marketed in the country by setting quality aspects in IMS product briefs and verifying their compliance through 1 st lot release
· Ensures that hygiene and storage requirements of local, imported or co-manufactured products are properly managed throughout the distribution channels
· Ensures that shelf life is properly managed and FreshNes ensured through the Supply Chain
· Analyzes and implements corrective actions on any quality problems in Distribution Centers
· Ensures that downstream and upstream traceability is maintained
· Drives the implementation of traceability systems at distributors' level
· Monitors traceability data as they are generated throughout Physical Logistics
· Establishes and maintains a positive relationship with local authorities
· Monitors correct handling and storage of non-conforming products including market returns
· Co-ordinates & monitors co-packing and co-manufacturing activities in DC's or third parties by ensuring compliance with FSMS requirements
· Maintains quality products data in SAP
Desired experience & qualifications:
· University Degree in food safety or related area
· Minimum 2 years' experience in the product quality area
· Fluency in Romanian and English, both written and spoken
· PC literacy (MS Office – advanced Excel skills)
· Excellent people adaptability and communication skills
· Good organization skills & work discipline
· Ability to work under pressure, strictly meet deadlines and take initiative
· Team spirit
· Developed sense of observation
· Developed ability to communicate efficiently in order to explain in meaningful terms the Nestlé Quality requirements
· Passion for quality and product safety
·  Candidates with ISO 22000 auditor certification and SAP experience will have a definite advantage
