Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Directly Leads or coordinate cross functional initiatives and represent company interest in the management of external relationship with suppliers.

2. Deliver cost improvement based on sourcing strategies and compliance management.

3. Builds and maintains mutually beneficial relationship relationship with suppliers.

4. Ensure that sourcing strategies and supplier relationship management are the most adequate for each spend category and business unit.

5. To drive the implementation of the identified metrics, tools and processes to optimize P2P performance.

6. To ensure the satisfaction of internal customers by providing quality and timely procurement services and

assistance.

7. To lead the rationalization of specific spend category, suppliers, materials and services that meet business needs and requirements.

8. To analyze and keep abreast supply markets of spend categories by assessing and audit vendors, assessing total service or cost structure and trends.

9. To negotiate and establish centrally managed contracts and to ensure proper drawn down of contracts by the operational buyers.

Requirements:

- Preferably an Engineering graduate with 5 years in Strategic Procurement.

- Able to demonstrate success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through development and implementation of sourcing strategies for the spend categories incharge.

- Able to sucessfully lead projects.

- Demonstrated sucessfull use of TCO analysis, risk management responsible sourcing and supplier relation management.

- Have successfully negotiated in cross funtional and /or cross market teams.

- Strong negotiation and project management skills.

- A hands-on team player with good interpersonal and leadership skills.

- Computer literate with good verbal and written skills in English.
