To complete our Digital Team in the R&D Technical Competence Unit for Nestlé Nutrition Infant Formula Category in Konolfingen (Switzerland), we are currently looking for a Specialist for Development of Digital Manufacturing Systems in the Process Industry .

As a Digital development Specialist in Manufacturing, your main responsibilities will be to design and build the future Digital solutions for the Nestlé Nutrition Infant Formula Category. By applying the related “Industry 4.0” cutting edge technologies (e.g. IIoT, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Discrete time Simulation, Advanced Process Control Solutions…), you will evaluate the business benefits, pilot and drive the implementation in Nestlé Nutrition Infant Formula factories worldwide.

For this position, traveling will be required.

Key responsibilities

Develop and Build, within a team of specialists, the Digital Factory for Nestlé Nutrition Infant Formula with its Digital Manufacturing flows and identification/assessment of the Digital technologies for deployment to our factories.
· Evaluate the new Digital Solutions design in terms of ROI and impact on the Nestlé Nutrition Infant Formula Category.
· Drive the piloting of the new Digital concepts in selected factories
· Support Nestlé Nutrition Infant Formula Category in the implementation of the new Digital concepts
· Act as the technical subject matter specialist for Digital technologies in Manufacturing, and continuously explore future trends in this area
· Support the Digital transformation in Operations overall program, in building an ecosystem of external partners with suppliers, start-ups and academia
Education and experience
· Master in Engineering with a background in Process control (Automation)/Industrial Software/Operation Technologies
· Knowledge in Digital technologies application is mandatory.
· 3-5 years' experience of technology development in R&D or Industrial environment
· Fluent spoken & written in English
