Reference Number: 15000653 Sales Representative New Germany The main purpose of this role is tomaintain effective territory sales and merchandising operations, incorporating, implementation of the customer plans as well as ensuring excellence in the execution and delivery of the in-store POP objectives for various brand portfolios. Key Responsibilities · Canvassing the trade in terms of predetermined call cycles and routes · Assisting the Field Sales Manager in the achievement of sales targets and objectives · Planning on how to achieve sales targets for customers · Analysing territory sales performance by product and formulate plans to counteract · Identifying new business opportunities · Negotiating orders within parameters · Planning and executing promotional activities · Negotiating shelf relays in line with company standards · Identifying stores with excess damages and formulating action plans · Analysing sales performance by stores and discussing issues with store managers · Completing pricing surveys · Coordinating and controlling POS stands, display units etc. · Ensuring that customer service is maintained at the highest level · Updating customer record cards and call sheets · Submitting credit notes/ PFME (Process Failure Modes Effects) · Meeting with merchandiser/team/agents to ensure efficient utilisation · Monitoring and controlling promotional staff and planning staff relieving · Initiating ad-hoc activities Key Requirements · Matric and Sales or Marketing Diploma · Over 1 year's sales experience, preferably in the FMCG industry · A valid, driver's license (light motor vehicle) · Basic to intermediate MS Office and SAP literacy · Good negotiation skills · Ability to work independently · Good understanding of Retail Channels & Independent Wholesale Preference will be given to candidates from the designated groups and people with disabilities.
