Major Responsibilities:
· Assist Sales Teams in contract negotiation and pricing:
· Prepare analysis (including but not limited to customer trends, size of prize, optimum product mix) to determine pricing and trade program for the customer.
· Where appropriate, accompany Sales Teams in face-to-face customer meetings for negotiations.
· Conduct pre and post evaluation of trade program.
· Assist Sales Teams in Customer Business Reviews and where appropriate accompany Sales Teams in face-to-face meetings.
· Lead Business Planning and Forecasting from a Sales Finance perspective for Sales.
· Lead financial analysis related to Sales, such as: Customer Contribution Statement, sales reporting and analysis (year-to-date actual vs. target and vs. prior year), Trade Assets Throughput, pre and post evaluation of trade spend, customer mix and product mix within the customer.
· Ad Hoc – participate in ad hoc projects and analysis, including business portfolio optimization
· Ensure compliance such that business teams are following processes, measurements and controls, specifically:
· Go to Market Guidelines
· Nestlé Accounting Standards
· Terms and Conditions of Sale
· Nestlé Sales Policy
· Travel and Expense Policy
Qualifications:
· A university degree in Business or Finance, MBA is an asset.
· 8 - 10 years of collective progressive experience covering multiple aspects of finance.
· Minimum of 2- 5 years in sales or category finance management.
· Commercial understanding is critical and cross functional experience is required.
· Highly developed leadership competencies in change management, strategic thinking, effective communication and leading/developing people.
· Mastery in the following professional/technical competencies: using analytics to drive insight, relevant business processes, internal control systems, financial modeling, risk management.
· Advanced experience in MS Excel & PowerPoint. SAP experience an asset.
· Knowledge of P&L levers and previous experience with Trade Management.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills to non-financial user.
· A strong problem solver and decision maker with an essential balance of strategic skills and the drive and tenacity to drill into the detail.
· Demonstrated ability to prioritize with discipline and purpose.
