The Route Accounting Analyst is responsible for the settlement activities when a route has completed their trip deliveries in order to complete the Direct Delivery Billing cycle.
Major Responsibilities:
· Reconcile Direct Delivery Trips by verifying the total sales vs. the differences between check-in and check-out truck stock inventory.
· Review route activity daily to ensure invoice continuity, including timely correction of exception invoices.
· Review route truck stock accounts on a weekly basis to ensure trip differences are resolved.
· Manage relationship with Distributor and Warehouses to ensure timely resolution of unreconciled inventory difference documents.
· Work closely with Inventory Control to ensure refused products are keyed in accordingly and on time.
· Educate Distributor on Accounting processes, Nestle policy and procedure and guidelines.
· In charge of trip document management and filing.
Qualifications:
· Completion of University Degree in Finance or Business Administration. Completion or working towards an Accounting Designation (CPA) considered an asset.
· Up to 2 years of experience in a financial capacity (internship, co-op) is considered an asset.
· Self-starter with strong analytical skills, the ability to prioritize workflow and operate independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information in understandable terms at all levels of the organization.
· Strong interpersonal skills; dealing with people both individually and in groups to resolve conflicts.
· Capable of managing and addressing the Distributor Community with understanding and patience. Clear understanding of compliance through Nestle Policies and Procedures.
· Ability to work in a fast pace, deadline-driven environment and sometimes handle conflicting priorities.
· Extremely Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
