Based in Rhodes, the Pet Care Advice Centre is an integral part of Purina, established to assist in building positive relationships with Pet owners. The team provides advice on all aspects of pet care as well as handling all inquiries and complaints.


Your Opportunity

Exciting opportunities currently exists to join the Pet Care Advice Centre and share your knowledge and passion for the care and well-being of Australian pets. Joining a dedicated team of pet lovers you will provide the highest level of information and advice to consumers in relation to pet healthcare & nutrition, pet behaviour and training as well as Purina's products. Your consumer touch points will include social media, live chat, email and phone calls.

Your key responsibilities will include:

· Maintaining a thorough knowledge of Purina's Pet Care products and all aspects of pet care.
· Providing advice and information in response to customer queries via phone, email, instant chat and social media
· Managing consumer complaints and turning these moments of truth into positive brand experiences.
· Proactively identifying key consumer trends to be used for social media campaigns
· Working alongside digital marketing teams to grow our presence via social media and other online properties
· Monitoring social media posts and promoting community participation to ensure questions or issues are answered accurately, timely and with the right tone of voice
· Accurately recording details of consumer contacts and complaints in our CRM database
· Various administrative tasks including monthly reporting, surveys, ordering stock , and processing invoices

About You

This role is perfectly suited to a passionate, motivated person with outstanding communication skills. Previous experience in social media monitoring and community engagement is essential as well as a good understanding of consumer engagement platforms. You will have a natural ability to empathise with concerned consumers, remain calm under pressure and take ownership of solving consumer queries to maintain and drive loyalty. Qualifications or experience within the pet industry will be highly regarded.
