As a Public Affairs Manager , your main responsibility will be to contribute to the implementation of the company purpose in the Communities and Planet impact areas.
Key responsibilities
· Contribute to the development and implementation of the sustainability agenda of the company
· Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement and advocacy strategies with a strong focus on issues impacting the company's growth drivers
· Manage the coordination and implementation of Nestlé's Global Youth Initiative
· Lead the implementation of Nestlé's Human Rights Due Diligence Programme
· Lead the implementation of the Responsible Sourcing Communications and Engagement Strategy
· Effectively anticipate and manage issues related to sustainability topics in close coordination with the Issue Management (IM) Lead
· Draft reactive and proactive position statements and responses to stakeholder concerns in accordance with the IM process
Required Profile
· Minimum a Masters' degree in sustainability, economic and social sciences, international relations, political science or equivalent is required
· Minimum of 7 years of experience working on social and/or environmental sustainability issues
· Outstanding oral and written communications skills, with experience in issue management
· Solid business experience
· Proven ability to successfully multi-task and thrive in response to competing priorities and demands
· Strong interpersonal skills that balance persuasive communication and respect for others
· Mother-tongue level in English, both written and spoken. Other languages an asset.
