Production Executive

Job description

The Job:

1) Production

·  Ensures Production Standard Operating Procedures are flawlessly executed, manufacturing conditions are respected, trouble-shoots and resolves manufacturing deviations.

2) Engineering

·  Manages all routine shift maintenance.
·  Trouble-shoots and resolves routine breakdowns.

3) Quality Assurance

·  Manages all line quality control activities in a shift.
·  Trouble-shoots and resolves quality deviations.
·  Ensures the flawless execution of the Production Quality System.

4) Cost Management

·  Following prescribed guidelines, controls usage variances.

5) Planning

·  Works closely with the other shift teams and the Planners to plan and allocate labour and plant resources to meet daily supply requirements.

6) People

·  Leads coaches, trains, and motivates his team in the achievement of Quality, Speed, Cost and People targets.
·  Implements Safety Standard Operating Procedures and identify and resolves potential safety hazards.

7) Continuous Improvement

·  Proposes and implements Continuous Improvement projects.

The Person

·  Graduate with a degree in any science or engineering discipline.
·  Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in the Food Manufacturing environment with sound knowledge in Production QMS and HACCP. However, applicants from non food manufacturing industry or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
·  Must be able to work on shift.(including weekends)
·  Good leadership and people management skills such as initiative, proactive cooperation and have the ability to impact or convince others.
·  Must be results driven.
