We are looking for talented, experienced Process Operators with proven FMCG experience for a small number of vacancies at our factory in Sudbury, Suffolk. The site is the home of Baker's, the number one dry pet food in the UK and currently employs over 200 people.
You will be rewarded with a fantastic salary circa £35,000 pa, company bonus and excellent wider benefits with opportunities for furthering your career and scope of responsibility within our manufacturing operations. The roles on offer are permanent, working our standard shift pattern of 12 hour shifts, 2 days and 2 nights followed by 4 rest days.
You will be responsible for running the process or packing lines and ensuring high safety and quality standards are adhered to. As well as working as part of a team to achieve the production plan you will be responsible for the hygiene and cleanliness of your working area, ensuring they are of the highest standards.
We are looking for candidates with the following key skills and experience;
· You will be thorough, professional and care about the safety of yourself and others,
· You will demonstrate your care about delivering high quality products at all times and have a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Principles.
· You will be able to demonstrate ownership, high levels of results focus and strong communication skills,
· Have a proven track record of solving problems and exploring how things work, whilst continually thinking of new ideas to improve safety, quality and performance to meet consumer needs,
· Will be adaptable and flexible as you may be required to work in different areas of the department and factory,
· You will be accountable for performance targets by operating machines and systems,
· Possess a proven ability to ensure the process runs at its optimum; producing high quality product and coordinating actions where necessary on your line,
· Proven work history of working with FMCG preferably food production,
· A desire to progress and develop a career with Nestle.
