We are looking for a Nutrition & Regulatory Affairs Specialist to complete our Nutrition, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs department, sit with the Marketing team, as both teams collaborate very closely. In this role, you will be the champion in nutrition and regulatory via our Global Brands and Portfolio Communications to help build trust and credibility in Nestle Breakfast Cereals as Working to Make Breakfast Better.
Key responsibilities
· Delivering impactful & credible communications through compelling claims and product improvements
· Leads claims substantiation/guidance, acts as brand steward, evaluates recipe/third party partnership/competitive advantage opportunities and manages regulatory risks, co-ordinates feedback from regions
· Preparing CPW positions, staying abreast of market developments, evaluating business risk and escalating issues as required, providing key argumentation to assist local teams to influence where needed and sharing best practices across markets
· Creating engaging nutrition content to help build cereal nutrition knowledge among Nestle colleagues
· Building toolkits, webinars/marketing excellence presentations, content and facts for the Nestle Breakfast Cereals website and internal intranet sites to support our Global Regulatory Advocacy plans
· Helping create breakthrough 1y and 3y Nutrition Advocacy, Science, Technology and Portfolio/Corporate business plans and guides the business as we work to execute and evaluate the feasibility of these
· Building networks with key internal stakeholders within CPW Globally and among the Partners to help deliver our Company Purpose, showcases best practices, acts as an ambassador for nutrition within the business (team breakfast), being exposed to the Leadership team and doing presentations to VPs
· Representing the CPW business on selected external committees e.g. EUFIC Nutrition Committee, Health grain Forum, CEEREAL Portion Guidance Working group etc.
Required Profile
· Degree in nutrition, dietetics or food science, or closely related subject
· Minimum 3 years' of relevant experience in the Food Industry
· Experience working directly with Marketing/Commercial teams within a market context to co-develop marketing strategies, consumer-facing nutrition communications, nutrition training and claims support is a must
· Regulatory background on retail food or beverage brands, ideally in multimarket or in tougher regulatory environments e.g. EU, preferred
· Fluency in English. Additional languages would also be an asset
